***WillisPalmer has merged with ISWA Ltd as of the 1st April 2017.

Both WillisPalmer and ISWA are long standing businesses which have collaborated extensively in the past. We hold the same core values and aim to provide services which are child focussed, quality driven and are offered at value for money to local authorities and others.

Together, we will become the largest independent social work agency in the UK, thus offering a large geographical spread, an increased pool of practitioners, wider expertise, and a development allowing for economies of scale.*** Click here to visit the WillisPalmer website

Why we are good at what we do

ISWA delivers good value, quality services, based on the following unique features and standards:

·     We have a large, diverse team of expert social work practitioners (children and families), located nationwide.

·     All of our practitioners are culturally competent.

·     We have stringent selection procedures for the recruitment of practitioners

·     Each practitioner has a minimum of between five and ten years post-qualifying experience, depending on their specialist area. The average length of post-qualification experience of our associates is 20 years.

·     Practitioners utilise a range of tools, including psychometric tests.

·     Practitioners are regularly checked to enhanced DBS level, protected by Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance and registered with the HCPC, Care Council for Wales, Scottish Social Services Council or Northern Ireland Social Care Council.

·     All practitioners are supported by consultation, review and training.

Service delivery:

·      A professionally qualified manager heads each specific contract.

·     We have robust Quality Assurance Systems which include customer evaluation. All reports are professionally quality assured by highly experienced practitioners. Not just proof read by administrative staff as with some agencies.

·     The agency is regularly audited by local authorities, is registered with CISWA, is checked for Expert Witness status, and is an approved trainer for the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

·     Skilled administrative staff who provide an accessible contact point, closely monitor timescales and costs, and act as a case handler or project administrator.
